Who I am

I was born in Venice in 1993.
My interest in sport started right away, first playing volleyball and then handball, while at the same time I have been cultivating a great passion for boardsports, which I still practice today.
After completing my high school studies, I enrolled at the University of Udine to attend a degree course in Physiotherapy, then finishing the course at the University of Padua and obtaining the title of Physiotherapist. Subsequently, while I continued to maintain my personal interest in sport, I enrolled again at university in 2020 to pursue a degree in Exercise Science, thus combining these studies with my work as a physiotherapist.
I began working right away as a freelancer for orthopedic and sports rehabilitation centers in Italy, doing both home-based physiotherapy and field work in international marathon and trail running competitions. In 2020 I moved to Austria: here, to date I mainly perform post-surgical and orthopedic, sports and conservative rehabilitation, as well as preventive treatments.

During the course of my studies and thereafter, I have constantly taken part in conferences, training and refresher courses. I specialized in lymphatic drainage for post-surgical issues according to the Vodder method, while continuing my training by taking courses and workshops in Italy, Austria, and Spain. Most of my background is in sports physiotherapy and therapeutic exercise, therefore in 2022 I embarked on the Strength and Conditioning Specialist pathway to better approach the issues of sport-specific athletic training and injury prevention.
I am a strong supporter of the value of research in physiotherapy and sports. I have collaborated with several international research and scientific dissemination associations, such as EXTREMESPORT MEDICINE and Surfing Medicine International. I am also a member of the Italian Group of Scientific Interest in Sports Physiotherapy.
In my spare time, I love playing sports. My other interests include reading, travelling and music, as I play electric guitar and piano for pleasure.
